From fashion to boudoir

I began photography in the 90s, in a world where the image was often built around a very controlled ideal. Fashion, advertising, retouching, precisely directed poses: everything aimed for visual perfection. That standard taught me light, direction, composition and attention to detail. But over time, I realised that what interested me most was not the perfect image, but the image that feels true.

I did not want to photograph women to make them fit a mould. I wanted to photograph what was already there: a presence, a sensuality, a quiet strength, a softness, a personality sometimes hidden behind habits, insecurities or the gaze of others.

I prefer an honest image in which you recognise yourself to a polished image that does not really speak about you.

That is how my approach naturally moved closer to boudoir photography and women’s portraiture. Not as a fixed style, nor as a trend, but as a more personal way of photographing. A Glintof boudoir session is not based on the idea of matching an expected image. It begins with you: your pace, your modesty, your energy, your way of being present in front of the camera.

Today, I photograph women in Paris, Lille and Brussels, in places chosen for their intimacy, their light and their coherence with each session. The setting changes, but the intention remains the same: to create personal, elegant images that are deeply faithful to what you wish to reveal about yourself.

An image that truly feels like you

A boudoir photo shoot requires more than technical skill. It requires listening, discretion and genuine attention to the person being photographed. Many women arrive with the same concern: not knowing how to pose, not being photogenic, not feeling comfortable enough. That is exactly why guidance is at the heart of my work.

You do not need to know what to do. I guide you gradually, with simple directions, in a relaxed and pressure-free atmosphere. The session is built step by step, according to what helps you feel confident. Some images may be soft and natural, others more glamorous, more assertive or more intimate. Nothing is imposed. Everything adapts to you.

What matters most is not posing perfectly, but feeling confident enough to be fully present.

I am not trying to create an artificial version of you. The light, framing, poses and retouching are there to enhance you without transforming you. The aim is for you to look at your images and think: yes, that is me — but with a softer, truer, more confident gaze.

Kindness, authenticity, confidentiality

Kindness is not just a phrase. It shows in the way the session is prepared, in how you are guided, in the respect for your boundaries and in the creation of an atmosphere where you can let go of pressure. Nothing obliges you to reveal more than you wish, to adopt an attitude that does not feel like you, or to fit into a pre-made idea of boudoir.

Authenticity guides every choice. A successful boudoir photograph does not try to hide what makes you unique. It reveals a presence, a femininity, a way of existing in front of the camera. My role is to find the light, direction and rhythm that allow that presence to appear naturally.

Confidentiality is just as essential. A boudoir session is an intimate experience. Your images remain private, and no photograph is published, shared or used without your formal consent. The images visible on this website are shown only because the women concerned have given their explicit permission.
